Even as low a cost as this conversion is, I still went and lined up a couple of sponsors. Since I am unable to work full time, (I am legally blind) there are things that some local businesses would pay for that really helped out.

Lakeshore Realty & Management is tenatively planning on paying for the final paint and the supplies related to final paint. A substantial investment, which will get them substantial rewards. When the car is painted their name will be on the side and on the hood.

Lake Michigan Auto Parts is another very good supplier. Randy's help and advice has of course been neutral towards such a project, never judging only answering questions and supplying most of the OEM replacement parts that we've purchased. When I convince them that they need to let me build them a website, I'll be sure to get them linked. If you are in West Michigan and you need auto parts - call them. Located in centertown Grand Haven there isn't much out there that they can't get their hands on! 1-616-842-3530

Rapid Flush has helped by giving me work. Work brings in money, money helps the project get finished. If you have any sewer or septic issues, they are an all inclusive anything you need done company.

Pit Stop Portable Restrooms - If you need a port-o-jon there is no other place to go. They'll drop one wherever you need to drop one!

Kendall Septic - A division or Rapid Flush - This is the truck you'll see when you call Rapid Flush to get your septic tank pumped out.

A quick word about sponsors. You don't have to get crazy, just ask the people you know and deal with each week what they'd be willing to supply you with for putting their name somewhere on your project.

Not all of our sponsors will be listed on the car. Not all of them have done anything except provide me with part time work which as mentioned has provided the funds to help with the project. Why would I mention them? Because someday they might want to provide more to get more coverage. You will need to bend over a bit for your potential sponsors and help them BEFORE you ask them for their help. Sometimes it might mean that you spend a few dollars more at their place of business instead of shopping for the absolute lowest price. Make sure you understand their business and can explain to them what they have to gain.
