This will be your short hand guide to how we put this together. I can't possibly write it all in one day so to start with I'll just outline the process on the right and over time create links to pages that will go into greater detail.

You will want to check back here as time goes on to see what I've added. Right now I am thinking that I'll add a FAQ's page for all the questions that I've been recieving.

I might even add a forum or a chat room where we can all discuss the greater details of this project.

3-25-06 UPDATE:

Well we know that there isn't much of a diary here at this site, but here is where you'll find the rest of the project as we go along. There si still quite a bit of work to be done so you will find information in the next few pages (hopefully usefull information) that might help.

This last saturday we managed to get the rear quarters ready for high build primer and we also managed to get the flat spot out of the motor.

We had a problem when you would stand on it from an idle, the car would hesitate before launching you back into the seats & lighting up the tires. We simply pulled out the Holley Tuning Guide and proceded to tune the carb better. What we found was the accelerator pump had too much resistance and wasn't pushing the feul out it's nozzels like it should.

The root cause of the problem was the nozzel size for the accelerator pump. We do only have a 30cfm accelerator pump, but it was still to large for the .025 nozzel. So we increased the nozzel size to .037 and it cured the problem.

Nest week we are hoping to put the rear quarters into high build and that will keep us from playing around with the car until final paint has been applied. (unfortunately?)
